Hello, I’m Bruce Jaquays, a proud Michigander with family roots in this great state dating back before the Civil War. Born in Lansing, I’ve also called Marlette and Spring Arbor home, and now reside in the Commerce Township-Walled Lake region. Life’s journey took me to Indiana twice with family and briefly to Connecticut, where I began my career with the Postal Service before happily returning to Michigan.

I’m the grateful father of two incredible young women who continue to amaze me every day, with my eldest graduating from Wayne State University in 2019. Faith plays a central role in my life as a member of the English congregation at the Chinese Bible Church, where our pastor draws inspiration from the teachings of John MacArthur. I humbly recognize my need for a Lord and Savior.

As a graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Film and Video—back when reel-to-reel videotape was the norm—I’ve witnessed firsthand how technology and education develop over time. I’m excited to bring my diverse experiences and deep commitment to our community into serving you effectively.
